Bob Dylan - Remember Me[Don’t Look Back]
Remember Me — not a Dylan original, but an old country ballad written by Scotty Wiseman in 1939. A young Bob Dylan loved it and sang it tenderly in his early days.
It reminded me that the most beautiful rendition of this fine old song came from The Companions of The Rosy Hours (who played at a party for Mick Jagger as I recall) and here’s their Frank Kilkelly covering it well with his distinctive lovely voice. WE saw the band at the brilliant Broadstairs Folk Fesitival and I treaure their cassette tape from that night
