BONNIE

from '73

Couple of nice things from Big O this morning and I have said before how much I enjoy the work of Bonnie Raitt so here she is at the beginning of her career for me. It wasn't until later after being got rid of by her then Record label (Warner Brothers!) that she truly blossomed into the full rounded ambassador lady of all things Blues peerless slide guitarist with the voice of a Queen . . . . how soon do you actually realise your mistake when you do things like this, she went on to develop and for the next two decades reached her full potential. Warner Bros it is called chagrin!

Check the notes . . . live broadcasts were unusual at the time (sic) and they recorded this by hanging a mic out the window! Love it!
