LAUREL & HARDY : AT THE BALL [Way Out West 1937]

Here the boys accompanied by amongst others the yodelling Chill Wills . . legendary!

"At The Ball, That's All" sung in the movie by The Avalon Brothers are... 'Commence advancin', 'commence your prancin', 'Commence advancin', 'right and left a-glancin', 'Commence your dancin', 'slide and glide entrancin'. 'You do the tango jiggle', 'With a Texas Tommy wiggle'. 'Take your partner, and you hold her', 'Slightly enfold her, a little bolder'. 'Just work your shoulder', 'Snap your fingers one and all, in the hall', 'At the ball, that's all, some ball'.

and of course this is where I learned all my best dance moves!
