I wasn't expecting much as I don't care for the period of God bothering Dylan from the late 70's but by 80 he was shoehorning in back catalogue material again and it wasn't long before the hectoring tone of the preaching work was gone but as the notes here make clear this is one of the most interesting periods in Bob's career. It is worth visiting alone for CS's notes on this but the compilation is of the usual stunning quality
