Peter Mayhew (1944 - 2019)

… aka Chewbacca with co-star and friend Carrie Fisher

Not the greatest Star Wars fan but enjoyed the films and grew to like the actors in it especially Ford and Fisher but you get the measure of some people by how universally the love is expressed and both Harrison saying he made a friend for life and Hammill adding that he was always up for a laugh and he had been a friend for over forty years stands testament to the man. R.I.P Chewbacca
