A favourite actor and have never seen a bad performance from Detectorists to Marvellous, Mr Bates and the Post Office to The Ruth Ellis Story, Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy to personal favourite TV series Don’t Forget The Driver (co-written too!) a huge fan of his dad Freddie who has handed on the chalice to his son . . . . even dare I say it overtaking as 'greatest character actor ever' mantle!
