LOU REED - ROCK 'N' ROLL ANIMAL
Another in a an occasional series of albums or singles that I bought when they came out and today's is 'Rock 'n' Roll Animal' by Lou Reed with the frankly staggering (at the time at least but timeless and still enjoyable today) intro to the first track ;Sweet Jane' from the guitarist Steve Hunter and the moment when Lou actually walks on stage during Sweet Jane is still a seminal moment in live album concert recordings. Enjoy! I still do . . . . . . . This album has my favourite line up for Lou's bands and despite Hunter not getting any credit for the Intro for nearly 38 years it stands as a testimony to Lou's choice of musicians and Steve's great guitar work. The line up includes one of my favourite bass players in Prakash John and it is worth following closely for his work here.

Lou Reed – vocals
Pentti "Whitey" Glan – drums, percussion
