Too grim a 2020 review? Well here's some cheer on the Eighth Day of Christmas!
KATE RUSBY -
NEW YEAR'S SINGY SONGY SESSION
On the Eighth Day of Christmas I wish you a Happy New Year and look out for 8 maids a milking, or ladies dancing, lads too, or hares a running, hounds too though that may reference hare coursing which is a drag and the Irish once left buttered bread and poteen on your doorstep which is claimed to be to stave off hunger but I reckon was a hangover cure left out for those staggering home from a shabeen!
All I CAN say judging from the picture below is my best advice for the coming year is to keep a close eye on that fellah at the front who thinks he’s in charge!
May your coming year be shining and bright!
Stay safe, warm and wrapped up you lovely people!

We wish you health, wealth, love and much, much happiness for 2021. See you all soon

They scrub up well don't they? . . . . . . .
Have a Happy Holly Day!
watch out for the fellah at the bottom . . .though quite what Ron Mael is doing there too is anyone's guess . . . . .
