Kate Rusby - Singy Songy Session NEW YEARS DAY

Too grim a 2020 review? Well here's some cheer on the Eighth Day of Christmas!

KATE RUSBY -

NEW YEAR'S SINGY SONGY SESSION

On the Eighth Day of Christmas I wish you a Happy New Year and look out for 8 maids a milking, or ladies dancing, lads too, or hares a running, hounds too though that may reference hare coursing which is a drag and the Irish once left buttered bread and poteen on your doorstep which is claimed to be to stave off hunger but I reckon was a hangover cure left out for those staggering home from a shabeen!

All I CAN say judging from the picture below is my best advice for the coming year is to keep a close eye on that fellah at the front who thinks he’s in charge!
May your coming year be shining and bright!
Stay safe, warm and wrapped up you lovely people! 🎄😷👍🏼

Kate says:
We had to squeeze in one last Singy Songy Session before it turns New Year!!! 🎉😃So here is, 'LET THE BELLS RING' from my 'Angels And Men' album. 😊🎄
Thank you for your company and support this year, you are truly fabulous human beings. ❤️We wish you health, wealth, love and much, much happiness for 2021. See you all soon
.✨🌈🥂☃️🎄🎂🧀🍾❤️🌈❤️🌈✨🎄❤️

They scrub up well don't they? . . . . . . .

Have a Happy Holly Day!

watch out for the fellah at the bottom . . .though quite what Ron Mael is doing there too is anyone's guess . . . . .
