Here at Hear Rock City . . . . .
We had some nice Badfinger the other day* and there are a few follow ups worthy of note especially from Hear Rock City who we don’t feature enough here (they focus on hard rock so it ain’t my forte or area of expertise but they have an occasional gem that is really worth checking out. If you love hard rock they should be on your daily route!) Note here the guitar solos and the cracking bass from Pete’s co-writer Tom Evans on these. Lead guitarist Joey Molland is a real treat and clearly knew his chops. Ham remained the distinctive and beautiful voice so backed up the rest on rhythm guitar and often acoustic. Check his playing with George Harrison on the Bangladesh concert. I only wish as I have said before that the Beatles could have rescued them from the notorious manager of the time who caused the incredible pressure on Pete that resulted in his untimely death
