Remembering Dr Ragtime - JACK ROSE

 A double back  . . . . . sadly a terrible loss at a mere 38 from a heart attack Rose has left a body of work really worth exploring . . . . .

2. The World Has Let Me Down

I thought I had known Jack Rose and it took regular The Sealyman to point out what a tragic loss Rose’s death truly was . . . . . .worth checking out his story (and albums) on wiki

Thanks for finding these Swappers. I have a a slew of solo guitar stuff. From John Fahey onwards William Tyler Daniel Bachman and in a different vein Leo Kottke. Too many discs for my own good really. I kept bingeing on the stuff.
The saving grace is whenever I return to it I always find something"new" to enjoy. Wonderful talent.

Love Kottke, and Fahey never ceases to amaze me! Tyler and Bachman (Overdrive not so much - oooh BAAAD joke, sorry not sorry!?) too but must have lost Jack Rose in the crowd somehow . . . awesome talent and roots of great interest too
