Swappers, I was there at this gig. "On the pitch!" What a line up of acts, as well as Jesse Colin Young for openers. At least I saw The Band. Cheers...
Superb, thanks for dropping by with your comments Michael. You are most welcome. We sat up near the royal box and saw Robert Plant and his lovely wife, and various others (Bomber Harris, other DJs and some of Dave Dee Dozy Beaky, Mick and Tich no less!) I wrote a list of who we spotted somewhere but cannot find it in the vaults . . . . we saw Robert and his family getting into their Land Rover later in the car park and oh how I wish we had stopped him to chat and get an autograph but I was quite shy back then . . . . Happy day!
