but we’ll wrap the day with much missed Raul from The Mavericks covering the classic John Hartford song and despite my not caring much for Glen Campbell he could choose a lyric for sure and this song stuck and convinced me lyrics could be poetry

An obituary for Hartford indicated that the lyrics are "about a hobo reminiscing about a lost love"
