Lou Reed - I Love You (1972)
"Lou Reed could sometimes actually be sincere and emotional - Pale Blue Eyes is perhaps the best example. Like that song. the mostly forgotten I Love You is both moving and very sweet. From Lou Reed’s much maligned first solo LP, which I ’ll admit that I listened to it once or twice and forgot most of it. Who wants to hear Steve Howe and Rick Wakeman play songs written for the Velvet Underground. But you’d miss out on this tune. Lou still can’t help himself in the end though."
Right this minute, baby now
I love you
At least for now, I love you
GUESS I'M DUMB
such a brilliant choice and a Sunday special . . . . . I love Pale Blue Eyes and this one slips the net so often! but wow what a song
