Now early on we loved Dory Previn and bought her Mythical Kings and Iguanas when it came out and played little else for the longest time but like so many early singer songwriters somehow we left her behind . . . or she left us !

Singer Songwriters of the day and I quite clearly recall our old friend John Northcote bring this album home from his store at Sunshine Records here in Oxford and playing us Dory’s first album . . . we loved it and listened to little else for quite some while . . . intelligent, witty acerbic and yet melodic too
What an extraordinary young woman Alice is drawing on the musical roots and especially of her fellow sisters of writers and singers . . . . . . it’s appreciated Alice!
