New Riders of the Purple Sage - Henry (1971)

A trip to Mexico, driving down winding mountain road, a drug deal, all delivered in a rollicking country rock tune from the New Riders of the Purple Sage’s first LP.  That’s Jerry Garcia on banjo and pedal steel.

What ever are they singing about? . . . . . .rolling down the mountain . . . . . . . .

It's Tuesday and I'm in a New Riders of the Purple Sage mood . . . . . . ya get me? I think you do . . . .
