Not sure we have had much Elvis lately . . . . . [Costello that is . . . . . . ] but the 'My Aim is True' album bought when it came out was my first and last (until Almost Blue but probably have pretty much everything now one way and another but not always bought when they came out for reasons best known to someone else] I acknowledge the true creativity of Declan and accept him as much as a force of nature and intelligent intellectual force, it is merely that I haven't always liked everything he has done musically with the exception of this . . . . . . it also always reminds me of a dear friend and colleague from Blackwell's Book Shop, manager of the main shop and truly bright, funny, intelligent, uniquely wonderful gal, Alyson Hiller . . . . . . we miss her x
