Draftervoi says :
"Another tape that I received in trade back
in the late 80s/early 1990s.
Generation is unknown.
There's bit of hiss but it's not too bad.
Mr. Bragg is in a chatty mood, offering his opinions on a wide range
of topics.
At the start, he says he's got a bad accent and sore throat,
"so I won't talk much, I'll dance more.”
And the final tally is...25 minutes of this is "talk."
I was unable to find any coverage telling me what Bragg was up to,
but from his comments, it sounds like he was stopping in Finland
for a concert, while on his way to play a show in the U.S.S.R."
This is a draftervoi special so always of interest. Billy is a radical left wing artist
important for his forming the Rock Against Racism concerts and movement in
response to Eric Clapton’s drunken outbursts of outrageous racism way back
when before he sobered up.
He continues to work in the field and plays concerts globally and his Facebook page
is always worth a read and reflects his political views. Admired for his wonderful
stance on standing up to be counted! (some of the comments on his Facebook
page are incredibly intolerant and offence so be warned if you follow this up.
WE stand with Billy on pretty much EVERY COUNT!
Thanks drafter!
