Bob Dylan - Tangled Up In Blue [Blood On The Tracks] | jt1674

I know not every visitor here rates our Bobby as highly as I but for them you must appreciate the mastery of the word that is perhaps his finest album? Everybody's no.1 Bobby album? Prolly . . . . . the times they are a changing huh?

Well it's up there that's for sure. However I'm more of a "Holy Trinity" man myself. I'd take "Highway 61Revisited" and "Bringing It all Back Home" over "Blood the Tracks", which would probably edge "Blonde On Blonde" down to 4th. (Ducks for cover!)

I am really positing this as number one as you may be aware rather more than anyone else her I tend not to have a solid No.1 from any of my favourite artists but ‘Blood' does always make into my top ten and frequently top three but I am in alignment with your tops choices! I find Blonde on Blonde frequently makes it to the top slot along with Highway, Bringing it and also John Wesley dependant on my mood of the day. When you said "Holy Trinity” my heart sank somewhat and I immediately though of the ‘born again conversion three' from the late 70s Saved, Slow Train etc and curiously enough none of them ever make into my top ten! 😏

Holy Moly Batman. Sorry to have given you a scare there. I know what you mean about changing rankings. I suppose in lots of ways "Blood" IS the best but "Desolation Row" and "Mr. Tambourine Man" might just be my two tracks for all time.
