Not one of their better offerings IMHO. They were never the same once Chas left and Wilko (strange decision by both parties too, I thought) joined. Still, always good to see a bit of the Guv'nor. Nice one Andy DD
I know what you mean post Chaz Jankel leaving times were . . .well different! It does have an immense hook tho’ this song (IMHO) and I can’t resist the Guvnor. Jankel was the musical heart of the band and arranged most if not all the great songs and hits especially. I was struck by the strings here as I say and lyrically this song is worth an explore! Thanks for dropping by DD!
