EURYTHMICS - Love Is A Stranger
Eurythmics.
"Love Is a Stranger"
"Love Is a Stranger" was originally released on October 8, 1982, as part of the Eurythmics album *Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)*. Written by Annie Lennox and Dave Stewart, the song explores the contradictions of love, portraying it as an obsession that is both dangerous and seductive.
Although it went largely unnoticed upon its initial release, the subsequent global success of "Sweet Dreams" led to its re-release in 1983. It became a major hit, reaching number 6 in the United Kingdom and the top 25 in the United States. The track is also no.table for its avant-garde music video, in which Annie Lennox’s constant transformations and various wigs caused such confusion in North America that MTV even demanded to see her birth certificate to confirm that she was, in fact, a woman
Apart from one of the finest voices in popular music ever, I cannot take my eyes off Annie whatever she does . . .check her dance moves here
