IN OTHER NEWS:

ALL THAT GLITTERS IS NOT GOLD - NO MONEY FOR GLITTER

I have always worried about Gary Glitter's music and will not play it . . . AT ALL and it has worried me too that folks have begun playing it in all innocence  (or ignorance) of who he is and where he is now and why and what has he done to earn his incarceration. So knowing he gets NO money anymore from his back catalogue is deeply reassuring somehow . . . . .still won't play any but hey, at least those doing so can be comfortable that they are not funding a convicted multiple paedophile

The rights holders of Gary Glitter's music have confirmed that he will not be receiving any money from the use of his 1972 song 'Rock and Roll Part 2' in the film Joker. Speaking to The LA Times, Snapper Music, the London-based label that owns Glitter's master recordings, said that Paul Gadd aka Gary Glitter sold his rights to the recording and publishing of 'Rock and Roll Part 2', as well as a number of his other songs, over two decades ago. So Snapper will instead pocket the money while Gadd remains in jail for sexual crimes against children.
Universal Music Publishing Group in the US also confirmed that Glitter would not be receiving any royalties from them for the use of 'Rock and Roll Part 2' in Joker. "Gary Glitter's publishing interest in the copyright of his songs is owned by UMPG and other parties, therefore UMPG does not pay him any royalties or other considerations," a spokesperson confirmed to The LA Times.

LADY GAGA DROPS R KELLY SONG FROM 2013's ARTPOP

Lady Gaga has made new physical copies of her 2013 album Artpop available for preorder, only this time without the original album's R Kelly collaboration,"Do What U Want. The new vinyl and CD versions of Artpop are listed on Gaga's website, due out November 11, and both versions leave the single "Do What U Want" off the tracklist. An older vinyl version of Artpop that includes "Do What U Want" is still featured on the website, but is listed as "sold out." Several other former collaborators of Kelly have distanced themselves from the R&B artist in the wake of Surviving R Kelly, the TV series, released this past January, which highlighted the full extent of the sexual abuse allegations against him.

THIS WEEK'S WTF MOMENT

Iggy Azalea : IT'S CALLED 'BITCHING'

Name calling. Iggy Azalea has labelled her former mentor T.I. "a huge misogynist" following an interview in which the Hustle Gang rapper described her as his "biggest blunder" as a record producer.

Iggy responded with, "The tea I could spill on what bullshit this is but at the end of the day I think people can see it's clear he's salty. He's a huge misogynist and has never been able to have a conversation with any woman in which he doesn't speak like a fortune cookie."
Bitch, bitch, bitch, bitch and bitch.

OUCH!

And to think Ellen DeGeneres has befriended war criminal George W Bush.
What kind of wonderful world is Ellen living inside?
