Not entirely sure what I think about this and it does seem very particular to the era (early eighties) but she has gone on from strength to strength hasn’t she? Become a more fully rounded singer songwriter and cast off the label of this early hit. Power pop? Well right but lately more rock based influences have made their way to the front. . . . . Or am I wrong
