Nat seems to be doing really well and has posted this from his Facebook page . . . . . . .
Aye y’all,This Friday I begin the 1st of 6 rounds of intense chemotherapy. 3 week treatment regimens over a course of 6 cycles, including 5 days as an in patient each cycle, amounting to 30 days overnight by the end.I can’t thank nobody enough for their help in keeping me optimistic, positive, & hopeful, the ones who have donated to my GoFundMe & those who continue to share it, as well the ones who have thought of me or shared their own triumphs against what I’m facing, or something similar. One needs a reminder from time to time to live by one’s own odds again. It’s crazy to me that this journey started a little over a month ago. Shows lined up, a good year brewing. The absurdity of life really Oklahoma and so many had so quickly dismissed me and seemed to take bets on my odds. And when my odds improved, failed to provide me that Hope quickly.I am thankful for the team of palliative and oncology doctors who advocated for me down in South Carolina. But, now, I am forever appreciative to the doctors and nurses who I know are going to use every bit of their mettle and cunning to help me write more pages from the book of life. All thanks to the sarcoma team at OSU here.Greatful for the friends who have made these past days so important. @muleresonatorguitars @love_cycles @_dre_alejandro7 @carolhoepner @kdelefterin thank you for visiting and bringing what seemed so elusive to me at first: harmony and care.Photos are a mix of Jeremiah and Andres and Matt EichWish me Godspeed, wish me strength.
He says:
"I have with great reluctance begun a GoFundMe to help with the medical expenses that this fight will be accruing, and I appreciate anybody who can contribute something. THIS IS MY ONLY GOFUNDME, and nobody else has permission to be raising money on my behalf under any other”:
