The Pinkpop Festival takes place over three days in Landgraaf, The Netherlands.

 In the beginning, the Pinkpop Festival was on Pentecost Monday, but since then, 

it has grown to a three-day event. The name comes from the Dutch word 

for Pentecost (Pinksteren) and Pop music, and the logo is based on the 

Dutch word Pop, for doll. It’s now held on Pentecost or dates close to it. 

The Guinness Book of Records lists it as the oldest, continuous running pop

 festival in the Netherlands.
