Kostas says "Darker My Love was a psychedelic rock band based in Los Angeles, California. Presley and Granelli were playing in other punk-influenced bands (both played in the Nerve Agents together, Granelli also spent time with the Distillers) when they joined forces with bassist/vocalist Rob Barbato and guitarist Jared Everett, both transplants from Boston. Within the space of a series of excellent live gigs, though, all four players committed to nurturing what was to become a signature bright-but-brooding sound, and Darker My Love, as a tight unit with major potential, was born. Not known to me but anything he posts is worth exploring also there was a TV programme starting last night a fascinating profile of Greece that made me think of our dear friend over there

From the coal fields to recent economics done in Simon Reeve’s usual fond humanistic warm style from saving Greek bears to blowing up coal with 4.5 tons of explosives - once set and lit with matches ( I KNOW RIGHT!?) the advice was ‘Run as fast as you can!’
