LA WOMAN 50th ANNIVERSARY 'RIDERS ON THE STORM' DEMO

 THE DOORS

Preview LA WOMAN  Reissue with Riders On The Storm Demo

John (Densmore), Marc Benno (guitar), Jerry Scheff (bass), Ray (Manzarek) and Jim in the studio

Read the article here . . . . . . the story of the recording put me off the incredible arrogance of Paul Rothschild for his over critical response and reactionary dismissal of the rehearsal as 'cocktail music' easy listening lounge jazz type after hearing Love Her Madly specifically and to be fair he was reeling after the death of Janis Joplin or so he climbed but after the friction he left the band to it on their own to work with engineer Bruce Botnick to release perhaps their best and most successful album ever.

Of course be warned if you are poor as a church mouse (like me!) for it costs nearly £60 for three CD's and a vinyl!
