Mo Early Jefferson Airplane!
The MATRIX SF
This is fun, lengthy and curiously chaotic somehow, what can they have been doing when Grace seems confused as to what number they are even going to start with and then doesn't seem entirely sure once they start?! She seems to decided and the band fall in around her . . . . . . . but maybe that's just me . . . . totally different arrangement of Somebody To Love? . . . . . . just me then.
Those were the days . . . . . . . . . better quality than I expected!
Jefferson Airplane live at the Matrix in San Francisco CA on 2/01/1968. The Airplane had been the first band to perform at the Matrix in 1965, so this show was a homecoming of sorts. Surrealistic Pillow was released 1 year to the day before this concert, and Crown of Creation would be released 7 months later. The Airplane were at their psychedelic peak at this time. Broadcast on KMPX 107 FM San Francisco. - The Internet Archive
