Truly awful arrangement and if ever there were needed any evidence that Don could not demand his usual musical expectations and standards he sure as heck couldn’t command the same from Zappa. Zappa phones in this strum along session and is hopelessly out of his depth here. Really needs Bill Harkleroad or indeed any of the Magic Band guitarists to match the chops of any Van Vliet song but this just doesn’t cut it. Dreadful
