Don't think we have posted any Blondie for a while and they are an extraordinary band who I always loved and have pretty much everything from the time way back when they released 12" singles to all the albums and recent appearances but somehow they lack a seriousness that means I rarely give them the credit they truly deserve. We all loved Debbie Harry and her 'Blondie' persona but the voice has lasted remarkably well and I always download a picture of the wonderful archetypical blonde. It is often said 'Blondes Have More Fun' but the work the band did has always  excited and challenged me too, fine musicians all and the married couple at the centre have ensured their place in pop punk history.
