I always imagined that the music written for True Stories should be heard as it is in the film. It makes the most sense this way. Singing the song that was written for John Goodman's character, Louis Fyne, always felt weird to me. Well... here it finally is!
All 23 songs, in film order, have been remastered and the cast versions of songs remixed. The album will be available on CD, LP and digitally on November 23! You can pre-order at the link above.
We initially began compiling the CD several years ago as additional material for Criterion's special edition release of True Stories, which will be available November 20! If you are a fan of both the film and the music, you can get BOTH when you purchase the blu-ray here.
