So, philo over at TWILGHTZONE has compiled a companion volume to the History of British Blues they posted the other day and it is a curio but really well researched and no mistake. Not the smoothest era for music but it tells a tale of the beginnings of Fleetwood Mac, Stevie Winwood, Led Zeppelin, John Mayall and The Stones and many more besides with the influence of black blues music from America as so many would be influenced.
The History of British Blues Vol II - TWILIGHTZONE
philo says: ""Since Vol 1 is 3 decades old and most of these tunes have been comped since then, I'd thought I'd try and make a Vol 2 with lesser known tracks by these artists and some other bands with keeping the theme of Mike Vernon in mind." - philo
