The Google Doodle today here is for France Gall’s 76th birthday . . . . . . she didn’t travel well to be fair but like Francois Hardy and Bridget Bardot we all found the French a bit too exotic and mysterious (what WERE they singing about?) unless it included one of our own (the legendary Jane Birkin ‘Je T’Aime Mois Non Plus’) but I think she deserved more attention
