Speaking of Bo Diddley?!
No, we were I swear! . . . . . .
The Preachers - Who Do You Love
White Vinyl LP or CD
Now whose version did I hear first?
Had to be Juicy Lucy here in the UK charts I think we all dug it and went out and bought it but I had though how amazing that the Doors should cover this much lesser known version little thinking the original was the master of Boasting pop and hoodoo roots, Bo Diddley! The Doors from the Absolutely live album and then the Band during The Last Waltz with their early compadre and band leader par excellence Ronny ‘The Hawk’ Hawkins but also their earlier cover too
Juicy Lucy - Who Do You Love
by the man who wrote it! Bo Diddley on the Joan Rivers show!
The Doors LIVE! - Absolutely Live!
The Band with Ronnie Hawkins - The Last Waltz : Who Do You Love!
check out the wiki entry for more detail - it is truly fascinating!

What a treat Juicy Lucy starring Glenn Campbell showing just what you can do on a steel guitar!
That's Paul Williams I think on vocals...they are all miming (obv) and its Ray Moon's vocal
The debut album had a top version of Chuck Berry's "Nadine" - always a favourite and another I liked a lot "Chicago North-Western"
Wow Sealyman!
Great info there my man!
Most welcome!
