Now this is a brilliant idea and makes a universal distinction that we are all aware of, the difference between music first heard on the radiogramme (ask your grandparents!) or that anticipation of listening to the purchase of a new album on headphones! Some pieces of music just require headphones to listen to properly (The Doors’ LA Woman or especially Riders on The Storm, much Jimi Hendrix and Pink Floyd but classic one offs like Steve Miller’s 'Songs for My Ancestors', ELP 'Lucky Man' etc etc . . . .)

My suggestion would be to not get hung up on the track listing and just put them on and LISTEN - it’s like entering somebody else’s world.

Great idea and Butterboy does this with the compilations by others regularly so his own you KNOW are worth listening to!
