EXCELLENT!!!
Always welcome Kostas!
This recording is FIERCE!
Seriously, you couldn't have been at the last Lizzy gig (1983) @ New Theatre, Andy - blimey THAT WAS LOUD - my ears were bleeding!!!! They were louder than The Who, when they were there in 1975ish. Am no expert on them, but love a bit of XTC - mainly the hits - even though they were from Swin*on!!! All the best neighbour. DD
PS I too was at The Wings gig (along with many other fine acts there) at NT. Cheers
Thanks Dave! Always welcome to hear from you. I cannot imagine somehow but The Who seems too BIG for the New Theatre! Does that make sense? Lizzy too in a way. I mean lots of big NAME stars appeared there but some were just too well GODAMNED BIG (read=LOUD) to even play there! I saw The Who at The Oval and various other festival type places and they even seemed too loud then! and that was outdoors! ha ha ha ha. . . bet Lizzy were loud too of course but for the venue XTC were by far the loudest. They made Clapton seem like a supper club combo! ;)
Always good to hear from you brother!
Hope all is well in Sunny Yarnton damned cold here fellah!
