Jeeziz Andy, I hate it when you put Rory up, as it only reminds me how much I miss his music. Awesome. No pedals (of any note like wha-wha, phaser etc.). No whammy bar. No gimmicks, just pure great guitar playing. Love it!
BTW Don't know if you know this but they hold an annual Rory festival in Ballyshannon (got to add that to the bucket list, eh?), and here's one of this years bands - great guitar playing.
Keep up the great work neighbour. Cheers DD

Oh I totally get that Dave . . . . . I found this clip a’wandering around and thought ok it was gonna be a predictable version and it heats and heats and warms and warms until it is TOWERING version I reckon but that so often happens with Rory he can take a blues standard and before you know it your’e all banging yer heads!!! (I have always loved what he does with a particular favourite When I was Cowboy (Out on the Western Plains) by Leadbelly and then totally makes it his own somehow Irish version !!(sic)
Sorely missed and I’m afraid alcohol will do that, bless ‘im

Lets ALL go to Ballyshannon!
