Song For The Day - STUART ADAMSON (R.I.P.) - BIG COUNTRY::CHANCE

BIG COUNTRY - UNPLUGGED - Live at THE BARROWLANDS GLASGOW

with great thanks to source Teach Yourself Eccentricity

we have mentioned Big Country and Stuart Adamson before  and what a tragic loss he was with his charm and unique guitar style rhythmic playing and rabble rousing Scottish voice to send shivers that may not have proved to be to everyone's taste after the Skids split but this is really worth a peek . . . . . . enjoy!

I had the privilege of meeting Stuart in early '83 in a Dundee hotel.
Big Country were about to play a gig in a nightclub called "The Coconut Grove" ( or it may have changed it's name to something more hip around that time. )
Lovely guy but was extremely nervous about playing.
He needn't have been as the show was terrific.
Their guitar sound was so unique and the band were pretty solid.
Miss his music very much.

So well said Scottish Folkie! Sad story and he is sorely missed. Thanks as ever for dropping by and leaving such a nice comment. Have a great day!
